Jeffrey A. Potter, R.Ph.
Jeff graduated from the University of Toledo, College of Pharmacy in 1993 magna cum laude with Honors in Pharmacology. He holds nationally recognized certificates of training in Non-sterile and Sterile Compounding, as well as Asthma, Diabetes and Cholesterol disorders. He is the Director of Compounding Services and Vice President of a compounding and consulting practice in Medina, OH called Clinical Apothecaries. His specialty is the endocrine system; namely the reproductive, thyroid and adrenal hormones. He has also developed protocols and implemented coordination of care programs for a variety of medical conditions including adrenal fatigue, arthritis, asthma, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, diabetes, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, interstitial cystitis and pain management. Jeff has presented on numerous health-related topics to community, special interest and professional groups. He is an active member of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists, National Community Pharmacists Association, is a past Trustee of the Ohio Pharmacists Association and is a member of the Rules Review Committee for the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. He has been named in the Drug Topics Honor roll of Outstanding Pharmacists and was awarded the DuPont Pharma Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award. In June of 2005 Jeff was named “Pharmacist of the Month” from Professional Compounding Centers of America and was also awarded “Preceptor of the Year” from Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy. In 2006 Jeff was presented the “Outstanding Young Alumnus” award from the University of Toledo, College of Pharmacy. He has worked with a multitude of organizations to coordinate and provide services at numerous health fairs and community screenings. Somehow he still finds time to volunteer as a Den Leader for the local Cub Scout Pack. First and foremost however, Jeff is a devoted husband to Sujata and the father of four beautiful children; Sonia, Tyler and the twins Casey and Sydney.
Sujata B. Patel Potter, R.Ph., ME
Sujata Patel Potter is the president, consultant pharmacist and certified menopause educator for Clinical Apothecaries, Inc. She implements collaborative practice efforts with local practitioners for pain management and bio-identical hormone replacement therapies. Sujata was previously an owner/pharmacist at The Medicine Shoppe and was a consultant pharmacist for Clearwater Healthcare Services in Sylvania. At the University of Toledo Center for Applied Pharmacology, she was the patient monitoring supervisor for a variety of drug studies. Sujata has held Menopause Educator Certification since 2002. She attends and participates in numerous seminars and symposiums around the country each year. She is devoted to providing community service presentations on wellness, nutrition, medication safety and hormone balance. Her professional honors include the DuPont Pharma Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award and the Drug Topics Honor Roll of Outstanding Chain Pharmacists, both in 1996. Also in 1996, she was featured on the cover and in an article in American Druggist. In 1995, she was named the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Voice of Pharmacy Faculty Member. In 2005, she was featured in Pharmacy Today, a publication of the APhA. Sujata home schools the Potter’s four children, ages 10, 9 and 7-year-old twins. She has won numerous adult division dance awards for tap and jazz and ranks as a third-degree brown belt in Kempo style karate. She has a B.S. in pharmacy from UT College of Pharmacy, graduating with Honors in Pharmacy Practice (Summa Cum Laude) in 1993.
